Should I wish you all a Happy July 3rd?
Why are there two major fireworks shows taking place right NOW (it’s 10 pm here) and kids outside in several groups launching bottle rockets and whirly thingies and sparklers…
Am I missing something here? LOL!

Happy 4th! (It’s now 12:04am where I am). I am not sure where you live but where I live many communities hold their fireworks on nights other than the 4th so that they (shamefully) don’t have to pay police and firefighters time and a 1/2, given the holiday pay. I hear fireworks not only on the 3rd, but also the 5th and 6th if there are rain delays. Anyway, soon everyone will have blown up all of their tiny little explosives and go to bed. Happy Independence Day, my friend.
