Water Gun
Will squirting a cat with a water gun make it mean?
See I’ve read a few questions on here about cats tearing up furniture and some of the answers that concerned these questions was to shoot the cat with a water gun when he/she does it. My question is would it make the cat mean if I was to do this? My cat has started to dig into the trash can as of lately and I don’t want him getting a hold of something that could make him sick. I would greatly appreciate a nice reply

No, not at all. I use a spray bottle for my cats, and have it on the ‘mist’ setting, it doesn’t hurt them, but it is a good correction tool that gets their attention. I don’t even have to squirt it now, I just shake the bottle and they know I mean business!
