Second Chance Finance Option Available For Semi, Over the Road, Tractor Trailer Owner Operators
Second chance finance option is available for semi trucks, over the road trucks, tractor trailer owner operators. Second chance financing and leasing is available to start ups and seasoned businesses due to current economic conditions. Today’s economy is all over the place and conventional semi truck financing has dried up at many banks and/or lending institutions. Semi Truck owner operators can seek and find special financing in the secondary markets where there are repossessions and off lease Semi trucks to be secured for acquisition.
Due to a contracting economy, many lenders have excess inventories on their books that they need to put back on the street. These in-house inventories are non income producing, therefore putting pressure on the lender to make a deal with the consumer. These deals can be found in the price, the financing or a combination of both.

What is the length limit of a tractor trailer in Australia?
We are looking to ship out some material over to Australia, but a friend has told me that 56′ trailers are not driven there, only 20′ trailers. Is this true?

In Australia, we do not call them “tractor trailers”, but rather, we call them semi trailers and road trains.

The maximum legal towing capacity is 3 full and 1 half trailer. Lengths beyond that are by special permit only with escort vehicles. Longer loads like that would generally be restricted to specialist oversize items.
