Tikes Ride
Ho to teach a child to handle his ride?
My son has a ride on the toy for Christmas (a bit like the Little Tikes "traditional" car but is a hit and no bees on top) but can not find how to push with your feet .. climbs in and out of him all day, but only feels because it can not understand .. I tried to show their hind legs move forward and backward, but did not? What I can do, just sit back and let with it? Or are tips to make it learn? He is 17 months down the road! Here sits on that .. Children learn very well to imitate. So it would really help if I could see someone else do it. Alternatively, you can get your hands on your feet and pedals until he gets a feel for it. mok gave my boys a couple months ago straw and one of them began to blow bubbles in the straw-making and another could not understand what to do to get the same result. I told him to blow and blow as if you were doing and he was blowing bubbles, but it was more in the straw it .. so I got a Bubble Blower wand and held it in front of the straw and told him that "bubbles" and began to blow and then I had! Now they both love to blow into their straws haha. So you might have to do some creative ideas for him to make the move you have to do. Or maybe you have to wait until he is a little older. He looks very good and happy without traffic it! hehe. You can also push it? If so, you might press too hard for him until he gets a feel for the peddler.
