Children in my backyard?
Just wondering .. Does anyone think it's rude when I get home from work and I have neighbor children playing in my backyard, or my child's toys when not at home? I always tell my son not be allowed to play in the backyard of anyone unless you are playing with children living there. I just got irriated parents of these children will let their children play on swings and our toys with my son when we does not exist. Not to mention the issue of liability. Am I exaggerating to be bothered by this? Addendum .. parents do not care what their children do. send their children in the morning and did not want him back until dark outside
You must be one of my neighbors! This happens to us all the time. Go home and find evidence of them or sometimes they are still there. Sometimes they will come and play while we're at home and I just happened to hear something that makes me look outside and there are! The question of responsibility is great so it must be nipped in the bud. Like any child who need repetition to remember something. Thus, every time I saw them I would say something to them and go. Sometimes I sneak out quietly and softly to them and say, "You know you're not supposed to be in our patio when children are out. "They apologize and run. I have not seen for a month or so now unless my kids are out. As their parents making them go out and do not care where they are or who they are with hours and hours really gets under my skin. One grandparent had to say, because his grandson and would not listen. I try to keep peace with the neighbors last thing I need is the attitude of an unhappy one. So I said, "I keep an eye on children when in my garden and I really do not want them in our garden when / children are not home. It would be terrible if something happened to him and had to bear the costs. "I've been playing in the yard ever since!
