Can plastic bb pellets in an apartment swimming Pool Filter or cause damage to the pump?

if so, how should I remove them from the bottom of the pool? the pool is about 12 feet deep, and pellets of have accumulated in the deepest part, right next to the drain in the floor of the pool. I have a vacuum, but is connected to the filter, which is then passed to the filter. However, my concern is that hard plastic granules can damage the filter. hence the question.

BB in the pool … I can only imagine what kind of chain that became fun. However, the response obvious would be a vacuum cleaning of the pool, but since you're asking this question in your pool, it probably is. Plastic pellets can be very difficult clean, be under water only complicates things! If you already have accumulated in an area controlled as you indicate, I would suggest diving down (a diving mask to help the visibility) and collected in a zippered sandwich bag over your hand all you can pick up dog droppings. You may have to repeat this process several times, air and surface to empty the bag. Hope this helps! Edit: Seeing now that they have a vacuum, you may want to consider dropping a panty nylon hose over vacuum line where it connects to the skimmer. The friction coupling must keep it in place. Knitted garments serve as a pre-filter and collect the pellets plastic and other particles. When satisfied, simply disconnect the vacuum line, remove the panty-hose and voila.
