Which of these are homo / heterogeneous?
A bucket of sand and water from air Human blood chocolate syrup Banana split seawater?
Homogeneous: air, human blood, chocolate syrup. If you do not understand what the two terms mean: homogeneous means that all ingredients and mix components to perfection which is quite a heterogeneous substance and is just the opposite.
5 Summer Activities Family Fun
The school year is almost over and that have not even had a chance to think about what to do with Your Children this summer.
Maybe your vacation budget is small or even nonexistent this year. But you still want to create memories of family fun their children will be remembered for long.
What can you do?
Well, here are five ideas for fun activities you can do that will cost a fortune:
1. Scavenger Hunt
Kids love scavenger hunts. The beauty of a treasure hunt they can be modified to suit almost any theme and age level. The basis of a scavenger hunt is that each child or team has a list of things they need to find and the first team to bring back all the items in the list is the winner.
How to Create a Scavenger Hunt:
Decide what kinds of things to include in the scavenger hunt and make a list. Give a list for each team, set the ground rules (ie, stay in the yard, You can not enter, etc) and let them dig for items!
An obstacle course requiring children to do so through a series of challenges has created for them. The obstacle course must be the right age for Children can have fun with a little bit of challenge and if you have children from a wide range of ages, try to make the elements adaptable to each child.
Ideas for Obstacles:
- Target Practice. Use a hose to empty milk jugs hitting a table.
- Egg & Career spoon. Make an egg on a spoon from point A to point B.
- Water Balloon Toss. Fill a bunch of Water Balloons and throwing children to others, or white.
- Slide. Be sure to use the swing or slide if you have one: Run around thrice. Go down the slide. Make a strained rings, etc.
- Transfers execution. There are two lines about ten yards away. In line with a bag of beans and the other have two. Children start at the line with a bean bag, run to the next line and pick up a bag of beans. Then they run back, the left and get the it's there. They return to the other line picks up the last bean bag, lays one they have and run back over the line.
- Sand Pail. Make children fill a small bucket with sand using a spoon or small cup to measure before they can move forward.
- Limbo. It has a station limbo created and make either go above or below the bar without touching it.
- Balance beam. Establish a two by four (either by land or even the brick or bench according to the age of their children) and make it balance through this obstacle.
3. Chef
Let your child be the celebrity chef for the family dinner. He can plan all the food and serve the rest of the family.
How to create a food famous chef:
Has your child to pick the main course, side dishes and desserts. Overall look to recipes and find a shopping list. Spend the afternoon preparing dinner and setting the table. Enjoy your dinner!
Variations:
- If you have more than one child, have each child and prepare a course plan.
- Give them a topic and let's find out food to go along with it.
- Challenge them to use a certain food in each food they take.
- Help your child make up their own dessert recipe.
- Teach your child some basic skills of cake decoration and then decorate a cake together.
4. Video Production
The kids love seeing themselves on screen (ie your TV)! This is a great activity for the dramatic and even those who are not so dramatic as to make the work behind the scenes for production.
How to create a video production:
Talk to your children about planning what type of production going to do – a small film, a public service announcement, a commercial, music video, etc. Then write a script (or at least outline what they will say and do.) Finally, negotiating and organizing costumes and accessories.
5. Detective Library
This is an interesting twist on a treasure hunt.
Creating an event detective Libraries:
Configure your tracks ahead of time and then, when possible, children see books in the library while setting up (or, if possible, go a few minutes early and the other person for them.)
His tracks may require you to explore different ways to search books (by author, by subject and title) and as how to find the books once you've done the search.
Give the first track. This track should lead to a book that contains the second track and so on. The tracks must be written on colored paper and placed in the book on a given page, so they are easy to find once the book found.
Create memories that will last more than a trip to the mall!
