Where are the floating fortresses 2nd World War against the English east coast?
They look like metal boxes on stilts and have been used during most of the past 60 years, although I think some may have been used by pirate radio stations. What is the name of the place, and the people can visit?
The Thames estuary. (Off, Sheerness and Whitstable) Do not think you can officially visit them ……!
