Is dyed pink/purple gravel safe for use in a freshwater aquarium?
I purchased the gravel at a small local pet store (family-owned) and the bag said it was made for aquariums. The pink is not a very bright/hot/neon pink and the purple is a lavender purple. Whenever I rinse it, the water is always sort of cloudy despite whatever I do.
