Car questions — weird noises and such?
I have a 2001 Chevy Camaro 3800. I hit a brake rotor that was in the middle of the road and broke the rim. The rotor was sent off for my tires and thrown under the car somewhere and I do not know what hit, but now after I have the new tire and had balanced that has not been the same. Turning the wheel to the extent that it feels as if my wheels are rolling over small bumbs and is sufficient to shake the car. I do not know if the alignment is off or what, but I want to get it fixed. Another problem I have is a howling noise coming from what I think is the differential at the rear of the vehicle. This only happens when I walk on the accelerator to 40 to 60 mph. If anyone can help in any of these will be greatly appreciated.
i had a screaming noise in my explorer a constant speed of 40-80. It ended up that my rear axle was about to disclose it. Regarding the other issue check all your steering components and ensure that anything else is broken or bent. even your wheel bearings could cause such problems.
