In the winter, there are lots of snow-covered fields that could be used for snow kiting. This is a good way to get into kiting, especially if you already have a snowboard and a small two Line Kite.
Lots of people debate which state has the best wind, but 4 places that come up frequently are the Gorge in Oregon, Hawaii, South Padre in Texas, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. All of these places offer lessons if you’re looking to learn.
