Kite Reel

Kite Reel
finding rates parametric equations? bc calc. 10pts!?

A kite flies according to the parametric equations
x=t/8
y= (-3t/64)(t-128)

where t is measured in seconds and 0<=t<=90

a) How high is the kite above the ground at time t=32 sec?
b) At what rate is the kite rising at t=32sec?
c) At what rate is the string being reeled out at t=32sec?
d) At what time does the kite start to lose altitude?

please show ur work. Answers to any question is much appreciated. Thanks in advance. =D

you can do the computations
a) y (32) =
b) y ‘(32) =
c) { x ‘(32) + y ‘(32)} / √[x ²(32) + y ²(32)]…..distance = √[x² + y²], take its derivative and evaluate at t = 32
d) find when y ‘ (t) = 0
