Encourage Kid’S Exercise With Pedal Toys
Back in the 50′s and 60′s, before the advent of the computer and video games, kids spent their days playing outside in the fresh air. We didn’t have Battery Operated Big Wheels vehicles, and our only source of mobilization was our own legs plus some good old pedal toys. Bikes and trikes and Pedal Cars were rounding every corner of almost every block in the good old USA back then.
The great thing about the old Classic Pedal toys was that they required some work to get them moving. No push button starters on these things. Any kid with a pedal toy was actually exercising while they played. Who would have thought that those old Sky King tricycles and comet pedal cars were so good for us.
Obesity in children wasn’t an issue during those times because kids were extremely active and not sitting inside watching the tube or playing on their computers. Today the most exercise some kids get is finger and hand exercise with their keyboards and game station controllers.
Childhood obesity is on the rise and statistics show that over 25% of kids today are overweight. That’s a staggering statistic. The solution? Get kids back outside exercising. Take away their motorized kids cars and put them back on those good old fashioned human powered pedal toys. Any amount of exercise is better than no exercise at all! In addition to all the great exercise and fresh air your kids will get while pedaling away on these ride on toys, they’ll also be forced to use their imaginations.

The future of our children is in the hands of we parents. With our help we can start helping to curb childhood obesity. Parents need to unite against the “couch potato syndrome” and get our kids back outside playing and exercising.

new disney california ride toy mania worth the wait in line
im taking my two kids next monday to disneyland. i hate waiting in line for a bad ride. please tell me if you rode it, if you liked it. and how long you waited in line. thanks. 
I enjoyed it immensely. Similar in vein to Buzz Blasters, you are in a car moving through different sections of carnival-type games shooting at 3D targets with pull-string guns. Different screens have different themes and different types of targets for you to interact with.
The wait in the morning is always the longest, I would suggest waiting until the evening time (for whatever reason, it’s not so bad then).
