Vietnam is a country of brilliant green rice fields, bustling city streets, thatched bamboo huts, grand colonial buildings, exotic temples and pagodas, deserted sandy beaches and breathtaking mountain scenery.
The two great metropolises of the country are the elegant capital city, Hanoi, and the dynamic, economic powerhouse, Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi is located in the north of the country and Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, is in the south. Most visitors to Vietnam start their travels from one of these two cities.
An overnight train journey to the north of Hanoi is Sapa, home to Vietnam’s highest mountains and colourful ethnic minorities. To the east of Hanoi is the spectacular natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site that is Halong Bay with its thousands of limestone islands jutting out of the emerald green bay.
Hue, the former imperial capital under the Nguyen Dynasty, is a short flight south of Hanoi and a scenic three-hour drive from Hue leads to the historic trading port of Hoi An.
Vietnam’s premier beach destination is Nha Trang on the south central coast. Other beach resorts can be found at Hoi An, Quy Nhon and Phan Thiet. The former colonial hill station of Dalat is a few hours’ drive inland from Nha Trang while in the southernmost part of the country where the Mekong river empties into the ocean is the Mekong Delta, known as Vietnam’s rice basket.

Camping adventure.?
I just got back from a trip to the amazon. I took my girlfriend with me and we were asleep in a hut. (hadn’t slept together yet). All of a sudden she wakes me up screaming and I say what’s wrong, she says there’s a python in the bed, I say that’s not a python just my wang. Anyway she told all of her friends what happened and now they all want to sleep with me. and they all come over when I’m with her and get me alone and tell me this, and send me text messages asking me to come see them. Should I tell my Gf her friends are a bunch of rats?
They obviously only want you for your “wang”. If you really like this girl you should tell her that her friends are coming on to you. This will put her in a position to discover who her real friends are, and give you bonus points. If the relationship doesn’t work out her friends will still want to kill there curiosity.
