What can I do to entertain my rabbit?
I bought my rabbit some various toys to play with but he seems to get bored with them pretty quickly. He’d rather chew on wires than chew on toys, i got him a lil hay ball, a soft squishy toy, a chewing cube, lil wooden fruit shapes, even a Soft Stuffed rabbit toy (he’d mount it every so often which is hilarious but that’s it.) But all of them he’ll sniff take like 10 seconds of interest then hop off or ignore it. Fortunately he’ll amuse himself with his random speeding in my house and his occasional showing off of his amazing leaping skill, but when i’m not home he’s probably bored to bits in his cage or the patio, so what kind of toy can i get him that’ll curb his interests.
I thought my bunny was the same but he’ll just be happy to be around you and involved in what you are doing. If you are reading, get some paper, like a catalog and he’ll take interest because its similar to what you are doing. But unfortunately bunnies are too intelligent to waist there time with toys. They are really only active early morning and late afternoon due to their place on the food chain. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Most rabbits spend their time locked up in a hutch in a yard, yours sounds very lucky.
