What was the last stupid thing you did?
After dinner tonight, while brushing my teeth, I hiccuped. And when I did, a huge glob of toothpasty foam flew off the brush directly into my right eye.
Now, I don’t mind the minty fresh flavor I can smell coming from my eye socket, but I could seriously do without the burning sensation and inflammation, lol.
So…what’s the last thing you did that made you feel like a real winner?

Well, actually the last stupid thing I did (today) was four face plants. Now, actually I’m really proud of my stupidity, but I’m paying for year. Two years ago I finish with a series of five major surgeries, three of which were hip replacements. Yes, I only had two hips, but they got the left one wrong first time around. Anyway, in order that my students could showcase their works, I agreed to play all the “old” man roles in their plays. In one, I had to get shot in the back and fall face forward onto a wood stage. We had two run throughs and two performances today. Now, not only do I have fake hips, but just the average wear and tear and being 47 has on my other joints makes stage stunts a sure recipe for an overdose of vodka and tylenol. So, forget about my joints, I’m being really stupid to my liver. Ah well, it’s all for the kids, right (either that, or I’m a huge ham at heart).
