Feet Dual Line
2nd Floor plumbing problem?
I have a dual vanity in my bathroom above. The right side drains the left side, but no downloads. I retired the trap and wound five or six meters on the line. I have curiosity about the left side is not empty, but when we run the washing machine and shower, etc, the water slowly creeps up in the sink. It seems that the links on the right vanity drain line of the tub with her. Any idea why the water does not drain, but crawl up on the line?
You have a good answer here, but I suggest you also have to take a different direction – up. As for the vents plumbing. Works by gravity drainage, and water in a drain pipe can not move very fast if there is a clogged vent the drain. For example, put a straw in a glass of water and pull. I'm stating the obvious when I say it sells out quickly – the water inside the straw is gone the instant it leaves the straw in water the glass! Now put the straw back into the water and put your finger on the end of the straw as you pull the straw out. Notice any difference? The same is true for any device plumbing. Plumbing Code (Speaking of the U.S. here) requires that all appliances be vented through the roof, the air can reach the back Drain water and let it move freely. If the vent is connected (leaves, bird's nest, etc) – your vanity will drain slowly, and other devices can push the water in the drain trap. -> Care <- go on the roof and check for nests of birds are there, and run a hose or a snake the vents to make sure it is open. If the vent is open, you must run the snake down the line. I hope this will help.
