how to install a Dual brand stereo on a 98 Honda Civic?

so just bought a 98 honda civic that did not come with a stereo. i thought i could install a Dual brand stereo (a XR4110 Mechless Receiver) using a wiring harness but the previous owner must have taken the hondas harness with his stereo and all the wires are loose and i have to match up the right color wires with the Dual stereo wires by twisting them and taping them. so what im wondering is where on the internet could i find the diagram or schematics for this. it would be a BIG help!

To answer the question, it’s really very simple.
Just twist the ends of the same colored wires together, one wire of the old wiring harness to the same colored wire of the new wiring harness.
Start by twisting red to red and yellow to yellow, these are your power and ground wires.
Now that you have the power and ground wires out of the way, finish by twisting the remainder of the wires together.
Make sure you wrap each wire you twist together with electrical tape and when you finish, wrap all the wires with a piece of electrical tape to make sure there are no loose wires and it will keep everything neat.
It isn’t necessary to crimp wire connectors, if you twist and tape the wires tightly you will have no problems with wires coming apart.
If your worried about the wires being fastened correctly, you can simply soldier each connection.
