Dragon Kite
Would “The Girl with the Dragon tattoo” or/and “The Hungry Ghosts” be appropriate for me?

Hannah Swensen Mysteries
I like most of those books (besides Wicked), and I liked the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It is a Swedish book (the Swedish title is “Men Who Hate Women” so that kind of tells you that a reoccuring theme is violence against women). Certain terms and expressions are different (ex/ gaol = jail). The first few chapters of courtroom drama and business are sort of boring, but it gets good after that, when Blomkvist goes to the island. Lisbeth is a great character. Give it a chance!
I haven’t read The Hungry Ghosts.
