I go to the lakes area this weekend and was wondering if anyone knows of a cover centre4 climbing?
with it being January 1 lot is closed eager to go to Muncaster Castle, have found a climbing center, but for climbers with experience, I've uploaded before, but I'm not that advanced, also had a look at go ape, but it closes so does anyone know of something fun to do to be open?
I usually take to the hills instead stay at home in the lakes, but do not blame you at this time! UK / location.php For fun stuff, you be hard pushed to beat a day to the moors. Sounds like you already are in a little exercise for fun, but hiking the moors do not have to be too strenuous! If the time to clear, then fell a minor as high Rigg, Loughrigg and Silver Howe is perfect. If you are a little more humid then the roads around Tarn Hows and Grizedale are lower, with more trees and more secure. Grizedale also silly wooden shelters and sculptures are fun to look through the trees, and mountain bike rentals and a visitor center (see http://www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/infd-5k2b6b). There are bookstores in major cities selling hiking guides and books (and of course, books Wainright, they are great). And try to search Google for some of the rides mentioned – I could see up there this weekend – I live close and get there in every opportunity;)
