Bubble Bucket
Why do you need an air bubble bag for a fermentation bucket?
Why not be sterilized using a "cube" and leave the top off? Basically I'm trying to see if I can make a homemade bucket to ferment some fruit and sugar, etc. ..
If you add Your Own yeast, you need the bubbler to prevent the entry of yeast and bacteria. A cheaper way to make a bubbler is to take a gallon milk jug, hose plastic and some tape. Put one end of the hose into the hole in the lid of the fermentation vessel and tape in place. Then fill the milk jug half full of water and put the other end of the hose into the jug of milk, getting it far below the water surface. The tape does not move, but for air can escape the milk jug. That's how all my fields and ferment beer in jugs I do liter, as they have no caps that way. Works like a champ.

Making Moving Bath Time Special
Bath time is the perfect opportunity for parents and children to get to know each other and spend quality time together.
How do you view "bath time" depends on you. Many parents choose to treat it as a task and fear at night – as do their children. In many homes, bath time is almost as boring as brushing teeth. You, however, can choose to turn bath time into something special, both hope you and your child every day. For a child, bath time should be a transition from the noise, the bustling world of day and the peaceful and friendly world of the bed. With very little effort on your part that you can make it a magical moment for both.
How can inject some magic into bath time? First, giving priority to it. Set a time for the bathroom that works around meals, cooking, welcoming home to your spouse, make phone calls at night and relaxing – and establish that the time for you and your child. If the phone rings, leave the machine in response to pick. Try to do a quick tidy-with child before bath time, lest they face a horrible mess afterwards – that way it becomes a transition between day and night for you too. Be sure to reserve enough time to not rush and upset your child to hurry.
Now, for bath time fun! Here are some suggestions Add magic.
Bubbles:
It has a wide variety of bubble baths suitable for your child. While you do not choose anything too hard, you do not comply children's products, which can have very unnatural scents and colors. Include basic baby bubble bath, and some therapeutic bath salts for energetic and sports days. Show your bottles of different and demonstrate that the choice bubbles you will use every night. Maybe if your child has been useful order, you can choose?
Essential Oils:
Two drops of lavender or chamomile essential oil (no more!) Added to the bath and shaken in the well to soothe and calm a fractious child after a long day. For a change, and to be sure that the oil is dispersed and can also add the drops to a glass of milk before adding to the bath. We sometimes use an unscented bubble bath with essential oil soft.
Light candles for special occasions:
This is obviously only suitable for well-supervised bath times – but kids really love the atmosphere of a bath by candlelight. We suggest that candles are lit only when children are in the bathroom, and are extinguished before leaving to be completely safe.
Hot towels and pajamas:
Especially body care in the winter months, children love to get out of the bath into a hot towel and pajamas! small details make the difference.
Poetry night:
In our house, every Friday night bath time was poetry night. We chose Friday night because they often had other children round to play on a Friday afternoon and that meant that our children are often too tired and irritable when it came to bath time. Appropriate poetry found in the library and online store all the printed pages in plastic file folders to keep them splash proof, and tried to introduce an interesting variety of poems children. In fact, we read the same favorite poems over and over again!
Bath toys
Rotate bath toys ruthlessly so that there is always something interesting to play! Occasionally it can attack the kitchen implements appropriate too – children love playing with sieves, whisks, measuring cups and mugs. Our children play endlessly with a plastic funnel, plastic bottles (some with holes in them) and a pair of plastic jugs. If you do not want to use your own cooking equipment, you can find these things very cheaply at garage sales and dollar stores. A plastic strainer serves as an excellent storage basket.
Fun foam toys:
You can buy fun foam shapes in buckets, or you can buy the foam at the craft store and cut their own forms. Maybe you could change its shape to match holidays and seasons – flowers for spring and summer, Christmas trees at Christmas, bunnies and Easter eggs? There are many possible learning activities too: cut pieces to teach colors, shapes, numbers or the alphabet, and practice matching, grouping, classification, management and so on.
Shaving foam sculpture:
Squirt a few large patches of shaving cream on the side of bath or your child's hands (warn to keep away from eyes) and let your imagination take over!
The music and story tapes:
Bath time is a good opportunity to introduce all kinds of music or to hear a special story on tape or CD.
Blowing bubbles:
For a special treat, bring some Bubble Blowing mixture into the bathroom. Make sure that does not reach the eyes of anyone!
baths colors:
Drops food coloring in the bathroom become something exotic! Try orange or green at Halloween, red or green at Christmas, red for Valentine's Day and so on. Keep the container out of reach of children!
Language night:
A friend used bath time once a week as "language" The night, the education of their children listen to French tapes and singing French songs French. She decorated the room with small colorful posters, by cutting the old exercise books or printing pages off the net and laminating them, which stuck around the bath with the sticky-tac. Any bath toys were used that night objects that may be appointed in vegetables in France (plastic store your child, boy girl plastic dolls, and so on).
Finally, remember that in a few years the whole ritual of bath time will be long gone and their children are old enough to shower or bath for their own – resisting any attempt to interfere with you! Have you noticed how eagerly a grandmother runs her grandchild bath and splashes and plays for much longer than necessary? If asked I would tell you to do far more than the tub while you can. Whatever you do now to make bath times magic will be repaid a thousand times in memories for you and Your Children in the future!
