Where I can get a security license to help get a job as a guard?
I am from the Philadelphia / Delaware area, and I'm looking to obtain a safety license that can help my chances of getting a job as a guard. He returned before here and there for cash in bars Philadelphia small for the festivals and everything. I'm about 6'9''230 pounds, played football and basketball in high school / college. I have 21 now, still in school part time and not play basketball again until next season, so I really want to find a part-time work (25 + hours a week) rebound in a bar / club from now until the end of summer. Anyone know anything about a security license, and when someone in my area can get one? Not is necessary in Philadelphia / DE, but it would be helpful to try to find a job. No mention plan on having a careerin of Law Enforcement in the future, so this license and experience would also help.
Your State Government Site will have what you need. Look under "Licensing state" usually below the "Secretary of State" office. Do not know about your state but in mine no license is required if you work for one employer who is not a contract supplier security.
