How big of a difference between these two processors?
What processor is better (and why), and how great is the difference performance between the two? The more detailed answer to win. Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 3.0 GHz 12MB Cache 1333MHz FSB or AMD Phenom X4 II 925 to 2.8 GHz Quad Core (4x 512 MB L2 6MB of L3 cache) Thanks!
The 9650 is better. Faster, and twice the cache L. None of the new AMD quads can overcome an Intel Quad Q9450 or higher. Do not get me wrong, both are good processors, but the 9650 has a nice edge http://www.cpubenchmark.net/common_cpus.html
