Encinitas Beaches
Encinitas California is blessed with six beautiful beaches miles – Eleven of them! Whether it's surfing, Swimming, Diving, boogie-boarding, sunbathing, reading a book, jogging, volley-ball or Just Immersed in the tranquility of a beach has private, Encinitas is everything.
Sports fans have a great workout at Stone Steps Beach. I ran stairs these six times every morning for several years and was in the best shape of your life. Moonlight Beach is a 4 minute walk from the Inn at Moonlight Beach. Stone Steps Beach, Grandview Beacon and beaches are north of Moonlight, within walking distance or a short drive to Neptune Avenue.
You can learn to navigate by taking a class Beacon Beach Kahuna Bob's famous, an icon in Encinitas.
Moonlight Beach is often called "the beach with all" because it has lifeguard towers, a playground, large parking lots, playgrounds, fire rings, showers, bathrooms, beach rentals and a snack bar … and of course … a sandy Beach Sand!
Sunset is a special moment in the moonlight, stone steps and Beacon Life. Locals (surfers, swimmers, children, bicycles, the riders, the young lovers, business men and women) meet all the beaches every sunset. It is a charming ritual in a special time of day.
Dolphins and whales are seen regularly, especially since the "high" bluff "Swami beach entrances, stone steps and Beacon. If you're lucky, you can see famous "green flash" as the sun takes its final plunge into the vast Pacific Ocean.
After sunset, take a romantic moonlight walk on the beach or just relax on the porch of the inn moonlight on the beach and enjoy a wine glass, enjoying the sunset over the ocean.
